It’s Been Awhile…
Hello friends!
It feels like forever since I've sat down and shared a proper update, and so much has happened behind the scenes at Threads by Julia. Between family, work, creating, and life in general, time has flown by! First and foremost, thank you for continuing to support my small business through every season. Your orders, shares, and kind words mean more than you know.
New Products & Fresh Designs
I've been busy adding new items to the shop, including:
New graphic tees and seasonal shirt designs
Embroidered hats (FINALLY!!)
Personalized bag tags that will be perfect for travel, sports, and everyday use (coming soon)
Custom bridal party gifts and wedding keepsakes (I’m especially excited for this one!)
Personalized baby items and gifts for new arrivals
I love helping bring your ideas to life, so custom orders are always welcome, just fill out the custom’s form in the customs page on the website. Whether you're celebrating a wedding, welcoming a baby, planning a family trip, or simply want something uniquely yours, I'd love to create it with you.
Celebrating America's 250th Birthday
One of the collections I'm especially excited about is my upcoming patriotic line honoring America's 250th birthday.
These designs blend classic Americana with modern style and are perfect for upcoming celebrations, family gatherings, and showing your patriotic spirit as we approach this historic milestone. Keep an eye on social media and the website as new designs continue to be released.
Pricing & Shipping Updates
As many small business owners know, material and shipping costs have continued to rise over the last few years.
To continue providing high-quality products and customization options, there will be some minor pricing adjustments on select items. I've worked hard to keep these changes as minimal as possible while maintaining the quality and service you deserve.
Shipping timelines may also vary slightly depending on product availability and customization requests. As always, I encourage ordering early for holidays, special events, and custom projects whenever possible. I have cut my shipping time down to ~3 weeks, but I ALWAYS will update you as the item is create and made!
A Personal Update
Many of you know that Threads by Julia is truly a side business fueled by creativity and a lot of late nights.
I'm excited to share that I recently accepted full-time Charge Nurse responsibilities at my full time job. This is a professional milestone I'm incredibly proud of, but it also means my schedule has become much busier. I have already started this, but I will have a set pattern and schedule come mid July. This might help the shop in the future for schedule drops and updates.
While Threads by Julia remains a passion of mine, response times and production schedules may occasionally be a little longer than they have been in the past. I appreciate your patience and understanding as I balance both roles. I will start teaching again mid- August on Fridays, so it’ll be a jam packed schedule. Pray for me!!
Looking Ahead
One thing I'm especially excited about is some upcoming travel! In December, I'll be heading to London for a much-anticipated adventure if things work our how I want it to. I'm already gathering inspiration and can't wait to explore, experience the holiday season abroad, and maybe even bring back some fresh ideas for future collections.
I'll be sharing parts of the journey along the way, so be sure to follow along on social media.
Thank You
Whether you've been here since the beginning or just recently discovered Threads by Julia, thank you for supporting this dream. Every order supports a small business owner, a nurse, a creator, and someone who genuinely loves making meaningful products for others.
I can't wait to share what's coming next.
With gratitude,
Julia
